I hired Mike to paint my house to get it ready to sell. What was supposed to take 3 to 4 days took almost 2 weeks. I had to call to see when the painters where coming and communication was not great. The service was terrible the work was not professional. I had personal property ruined from workers walking paint on area rugs my children's beds and all over the floors. Which I was told would be cleaned not to worry. They where slightly cleaned but my entire laminate floors have a paint haze and will take hard work to get back to the shape it was in before the painting. The workers also tracked dog poo all over my upstairs and even clean their shoe off in my daughter's laundry pile. They damaged my walls that where not needing repair. They where filled but very noticeable. I had a bathroom just painted that I wanted left just trim done. They got paint on the walls and had to paint it a color they where using versus the color I had it. The job was said to be done but the master bathroom still isn't by the bottom trim. It still has the old color showing but I am so done asking to have things finished I will do it myself or hire someone else. They didn't paint match the back trims they quoted me for and so they didn't paint it the right color and I will have to get that re done as well. I was also told his services included a professional house cleaning but once I asked about it I was told because I decided not to go with them for the carpet I now couldn't get the house cleaned. So all the paint in baths,sinks, mirror and my floor I will have to clean myself as well as the carpets that have dog poo smeared on them and paint tracked on them. There was garbage thrown in my hallways and left as well as paint supply cans left for me to clean. He did nothing to make anything right. He even decided not to replace the door stoppers that disappeared during the job, or fix the ones that got painted over so I will have to replace the walls mounts. He gave me a discount on it instead. Which I wasn't even asked if i was ok with. He also walked off with a charger which he brought back after I asked. The original quote for walls and back was around 4,900 them I added trim and carpets paid an 8,000 deposit then removed carpeting due to lack of professionalism and was told I still owed over 3,000 which is a ton for trim that I still need to fix and finish myself or hire another.
